The Los Angeles
NTMA is an affiliate of the National Tooling & Machining Association.
The National Tooling & Machining Association (NTMA) is a nationwide,
non-profit trade association of approximately 2,000 companies
engaged in precision custom manufacturing including contract machining,
tool & die making, mold building and building of special purpose
machines for all industries. The Los Angeles Chapter is the largest
chapter in the nation with over 140 members. We celebrated the
chapter's 50th anniversary in 2001.
There are
many benefits of belonging to our national organization. One of
which is having a very dedicated staff at our headquarters in
our nations capitol that act as a voice for our industry. The
staff at headquarters coupled with a board made up of industry
leaders from around the country are constantly working to make
our industry stronger. Another benefit is the great number of
publications produced by NTMA that are used as educational resources
for many training institutions around the country. These are just
a few of the many benefits that our organization provides to our
industry.
Belonging
to the Los Angeles Chapter offers a great number of benefits as
well. Being a member of the LA/ NTMA gives you the opportunity
to network with other company owners and to exchange ideas and
solutions that will make all of our companies more competitive
in this ever-changing world. One of the foremost advantages is
access to any of our Training Centers for new employees as well
as continuing training for your current employees.
